SIOUX CITY, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1997--Seanix Technology today announced that two of its desktop
systems have secured top spots in editors'-pick lists in winter issues of some of the most popular trade magazines, including
PC Computing, Windows Magazine and PC World.

"To have Seanix desktops recognized as the best of the best by these highly respected publications is a testament to our ability
to successfully compete in a tough industry," declared Todd Osborn, Seanix president. "When we entered the market in
March of this year, we were cautioned by several renowned analysts that with all the PC companies already in existence, it
would be quite a challenge for a new entrant to survive. The success we've achieved in such a short time can be attributed to
our unique business model as a vertical integrator that sells direct, enabling us to aggressively reach the $999 - $2,000 system
price category. This is a high-growth market segment that Seanix is uniquely positioned to address."

The grand winner

The Seanix Baby Grand - CS, a fully configured, no-compromise, sub-$1,000 computer, made PC Computing magazine's
"A-List" in November and December as the best system in the Low-Cost Desktop PC category, and was included in the
publication's December Holiday Gift Guide. PC Computing comments on the combination of quality and an amazing price in
its review of why the $999 Baby Grand made the A-List: "The Seanix Baby Grand - CS is a terrific value. It's stocked with
excellent components and boasts the fastest performance of the group."

PC Computing also recently awarded the Seanix Baby Grand - CS a 1997 Most Valuable Product (MVP) Award for being
"one of the best examples of a stellar system with a rock-bottom price - including monitor."

In addition, the system is named in Windows Magazine's January 1998 WinList. The magazine reports: "The Seanix Baby
Grand - CS lives up to its namesake, offering superb construction and quality performance ... it delivers what it promises and
then some: quality performance at a fraction of what we would expect to pay for a system of the Grand's integrity."

Finally, the Baby Grand - CS ranked in PC World's Top 20 Budget Desktops in November and December. PC World
described the Baby Grand: "Terrifically low price for a complete multimedia PC with modem ... Expandability is better than
you would expect of a system with the 'Baby' designation: You get three open expansion slots and four available drive bays."

For $999 the Seanix Baby Grand - CS comes standard with a 166MHz Pentium processor with MMX technology, 2MB
EDO memory with 3D support, a 14-inch monitor (12.9-inch viewable), 16 MB EDO memory, a 1.6MB hard disk drive, a
24X CD-ROM drive, a 16-bit sound card, Altec Lansing ACS90 speakers and a choice of either a 33.6K fax/modem or a
10/100 Ethernet adapter.

Affordable DVD Gets WinList-ed

In addition to the accolades surrounding the Seanix Baby Grand - CS, the Seanix CS DVD 166 earned a favorable review in
Windows Magazine and a position on the publication's WinList. According to the WinLab report: "The CS DVD 166 is ideal
for both home office and family use, and is reasonably priced for a fully equipped digital videodisc (DVD) system ... it's the
digital video component that impressed us the most. With its crisp monitor and good sound capabilities, the system serves up a
thrilling DVD experience."

The Seanix CS DVD 166 reviewed by Windows Magazine was configured with a 166MHz Pentium processor with MMX
technology, 512KB internal cache, 64MB SDRAM, a 6.4GB UltraDMA hard disk drive, a Matrox Millennium II video
adapter with 4MB WRAM, a 17" Seanix monitor (15.8" vis), a DVD ROM, 56K fax/modem with speakerphone, Ensoniq
Wavetable sound, a microphone and Altec Lansing ACS 400 speakers with subwoofer.

"We are thrilled to find that two out of the three PCs in Windows Magazine's WinList 'Desktop Systems -- 166MHz' were
from Seanix: our DVD system and Baby Grand PC," stated Rus Graham, Seanix director of marketing. "What's more, the
DVD system was noted as 'Fastest Performer,' while the Baby Grand was the 'Best Buy.' It's Seanix's combination of
features, performance and price that is making the industry stand up and take notice of us."
