Poverty exists worldwide, and not to far at all from where you live, work, from the beginning of time.

Maybe try looking at Walmart and see what the 1% can do, between them and Amazon American
retail and ma and pa shops are becoming extinct.

Corporate welfare and tax havens exacerbate the growing inequality that creates more worldwide poverty.
