You have got to be kidding. My wife was from Village, AR, which is undoubtedly an overstatement of what the place is. Nothing but pump jacks and timberland. But the entire community runs on volunteer labor. Someone has to mow the cemetary and keep up the school building.

I once did some work for a tiny city and when I went to present the results someone wanted a speed limit changed near their home. The police chief informed the council they had one more sign, but it was a 10mph, not a 5mph as was requested. The police chief informed the council further that he would PERSONALLY install the sign when he had time.

I'm quite certain he would have been happy to have a food stamp recipient do it.

It is just stupid to be giving away free money to people who simple sell it for 50c on the dollar, which is what many of them do. I know that because I know some of the assholes who do it.
