There is no Ontological difference between a fetus and a baby......One could use the term 'baby' after end of 2nd trimester perhaps when a fetus can potentially exist outside the womb. There's no self awareness, personhood & whatever hysterical labels until very end of trimester, no mental life at all.

The cerebral cortex, which is responsible for most of what we think of as mental life, conscious experience, voluntary actions, thinking, remembering, and feeling, has only begun to function around the time gestation comes to an end. Before this you have only brainstem guided basic vital functions, reflex movements, heart beat, swallowing & breathing reflex.

It would asking too much for you to even attempt to understand real brain & central nervous system developemental stages of the fetus, there's absolutely no mental activity till almost the very last stage of pregnancy. (The cerebral cortex isn't even wired yet, no mental activity, like you )
