I no longer have a position in YHOO, and I don't understand the recent price movements either -- but I would be careful not to short a stock having a large fraction of the float already shorted. It seems to me that at any time some institution could make a few block trades and move the price around relatively easily. A further complication is that the large insider holders are not selling.
