Walmart.... Is that a jab? WalMart employs a million and a half in the US alone, most low skilled with few other opportunities. Those with grit have a chance to advance. Their pay and benefits are generally better than they'd get from the mythical mom and pop shops they partially displace. Maybe six years ago I read that Walmart serves forty to forty two million Americans each month, probably more now in harder times. Their low prices are the functional equivalent to a raise in pay for those who trade there. Walmart is a prime example of what's right in America.
