Do you think the voters are happy with how politics has been working in Washington DC. No one, let alone me, is asserting that. The only ones I know who might be reasonably satisfied are folk who know how to work the system. But those dissatisfactions translate into such different proposals that putting them in the same bag misses all the important stuff. Sanders folk want the government to do more to reduce inequality, they want more government programs like single payer health care systems, having the wealthy pay reasonably fair amounts for their taxes, and so on. Best I can tell at the moment is that the Trump folk, in so far as there is a single theme, want a strong man who'll keep those feared/hated "others" at bay. So they'll tolerate all sorts of character flaws if he comes through on that score.
