He further ruined himself when he couldn't even remember his own simple talking points when given the opportunity to speak during a key debate. Recall that he stumbled and stammered, hemmed and hawed, and he finally had to admit that he didn't know what he was talking about and he couldn't remember what he wanted to say next when pressed on the matter. It was disgraceful.
