In a part of the country where we have many bridges in critical need of repair, throwing money at a bridge for toy trains, street cars and bicycles (even if it is "free federal money") should leave us with a lesson. The bridge should be named, Foolish Waste of Money, so we are reminded that the will of a few appointed political hacks trumps the needs of the majority of taxpayers.
