I've been curious as to who is currently producing chips for sale that use DUV process. I ran across this on the Toshiba web page and called them. I was informed that Toshiba has 3 fabs, one here and 2 in Japan, using DUV to produce SDRAM chips. He didn't know what laser source was used. Is this old news? Are they using Cymer lasers? Are there lots of manufacturers now using DUV for production of chips in commercial quantity, and if so which manufacturers? TIA. toshiba.com Pierre
