Typical Democrat spin. Doesn't change the fact that Democrat obstructionism during the Bush era was unprecedented for its time.

That's why the " Gang of 14" was formed in order to avoid using the "nuclear option" for confirming judicial nominees, because what the Democrats were doing was never done before in American history.

Of course, when the shoe was on the other foot, Reid did not hesitate to use the "nuclear option" for himself: en.wikipedia.org

His reasoning, of course, was that the Republicans took obstructionism to a whole new level, but that's a completely hypocritical statement given what the Democrats did during the time of the "Gang of 14."
