Not really. It is different when the dial is set to 2 or 3 and then the Republicans crank it to 11. Which is what makes it unprecedented. If isn't like the party out of power doesn't provide obstacles. They do. That is their job. But never doing anything but providing obstacles means that government cannot function.

You are trying to pretend that one party doing something at a small fraction of the rate of the other makes them the same is very disingenuous. It isn't the same at all.
