Bryan, Sounds like we could solve this problem with a mutual fund similar to TMF that invests in SFE, rights, and other affiliates. I started an investment club with some people at work last year that does this, but it sounds like we got in around when you did, and we're still approximately even. (However, there were some good buying opportunities along the way, and I'm pretty positive for next year's outlook.) Anyway, setting up a fund like this around Safeguard and some of the other companies on this thread, perhaps closed-end, is a long-term goal of mine. If anybody else is interested, please feel free to contact me. I don't have the ability or qualifications to atempt this yet, but I'm working on it. Good Investing and Merry Christmas, --John
