A dillemma. My TV busted and I need to get another one. SHould I buy a cheapo to get me through until those Samsung DTVs reach my local Best Buy, or are we still 3-5 years away from having DTVs at consumer prices (around $1,000)? I see that DTV feeds will begin in a few markets by November (but not LA), with mandated broadcasts by late 1999. Is anybody going to build a transition TV that can receive both analog and digital? Is Samsung using any CUBE chips in those TVs? Fred, can you take your screwdriver to Vegas? (don't touch those capacitors ...)
