I've been called racist for speaking the truth... but, my view is this... when someone calls me a racist for pointing out the truth and the obvious, I consider it that they really agree with me but are too afraid to admit it openly, agreeing with me would only awaken their cognitive dissonance and it would be too painful for them to handle... it's so much easier to call someone a racist than to acknowledge the obvious yet painful truth...
