J GladRE: >>WMX and Al Dunlap<< TO ALL: Selling some longs and increasing some short positions.

You also have a point. However, IMO the probability of him taking the job after such comments may be very small. I am away on vacation and feel a bit lazy to do any haevy homework so I will pass on this one.

TO ALL: Today, I touched my account for the first time since I left the US(a mistake?). Sold LLY at 665/8 and RD at 531/4. Increased my BFIT short position by 50% at 207/16 and 201/2. BFIT was already my largest short position. Also, increased my ACLT short position by 33% at 231/8, tried to get ZONA and CDRD [for shorting] but could not find any shares.

It may very well be that BFIT keeps defiying gravity through the first quarter. This would be totally insane but possible. y2k stocks are doing decently (I had anticipated this). Today, acly and seec went up quite a bit.

Needless to say today's transactions further reduce my market exposure. Have not run the numbers but my estimate is that I am about market neutral right now.
