Thanks for the reference.

This saga is like a B karate film where the bad guy:

1) Gets punched in the head,
2) Comes back and knocks the hero across the side of his head,
3) Gets kicked hard in the family jewels,
4) Comes back and grabs a an axe,
5) Has the axe taken away,
6) Gets knocked back onto a buzz saw and as the blade cuts through his back and through his rib cage,
7) Stands up and makes one last surge at the good guy who, like a bullfighter steps aside as the monster finally falls into the hungary alligator holding pond and becomes reptile meat du jour.

Apparently we are passing through phase 6 into 7.
