Good Points on AOL: Even my father uses it:

However, that's because it was made EASY for him to get started and he doesn't put in the big hours.. The question that will have to settle out... Is who will stay... As a pro to AOL, I think the new users won't be big hour players! They are the NON-PIONEERS, short on time, busy schuedles, looking for high entertainment value - and I agree that's where AOL shines... One project I would love to take on - is upgrading AT&T's marketing to it's customers! They could do such a better job...

A conversion certificate from AOL to AT&T
A downloadable starter kit:
Cool sounds, Family based utilities (multi e-mails,
pre-paid subscriprtions to wsj, etc
Quotes from the newly converted!

A blow like that to AOL's Subscription list would RACKET the financial world...

Then there's HOT-JAVA! - When people start to see some great apps, that they can't get - there are going to switch!

Yes-AOL will probably strike a deal with MS's browser or Netscape Like compuserve, for there sake it should happen quick!
