I would like to raise questions regarding the use of CF, MMC or whatever other technology of SanDisk in SmartCards.
Has anyone of you already used a smartcard?
Like most of the people here in Europe, I have. My wallet is electronic, it allows me to pay for whatever cheap goods (less than $150) I want very quickly, very easily, I can phone friends at public phones, pay the parking ticket,...Its use is really WIDESPREAD, it's so convenient that even some old people use it. I know that Europe is said to be lagging behind the US techwise but there are many areas in which Europe is way ahead, like payment systems, mobile phones,...
But the card is like your VISA card, it's very thin, the only difference is that it holds a small chip 1/3 inch x 1/4 inch, 1/2 milimeter thick.
How would you put SNDK's technology in there and for what purpose?
It already works very well.
I use one for social security and it holds all your personnal information,...
