You're talking about two different groups of Saudis ... the ones who left the country before 911 didn't need Bush or anyone else to approve their leaving .... the ones who DIDN'T leave before 911 are the ones least likely to have had guilty knowledge.

Furthermore, the ones who left after 911 were screened by the FBI according to liberal icon, Richard Clarke. Whether they left in chartered planes is immaterial. And if the FBI screened them there was no need for any further special permission needed to leave the country.

You believe we should have locked up every Saudi citizen in the country and water-boarded them till they talked. But if we had done that, you'd be condemning this as just another US war crime.

The Saudis who left before 911 may have been conspirators. If you want to demand the Saudis turn them over, go in and take them when they refuse, and waterboard ... I'm A-OK with it. But I don't think you really are. I don't think you have any grudge against anyone but Bush, Cheney, and the US.
