Hi Vendit,

I like your sleuthing, but that technique doesn't indicate how long someone is away from SI. It only indicates the time elapsed between posts in forums.

For example, if I last posted in Forum A 7 days ago, and I last posted in Forum B today, your technique would show that I was away from SI for 7 days. However, I may have posted in Forum B each and every day over the past 7 days, and I was never away. The procedure won't show that. -g-

A better example: Imagine that I only posted in two forums during my entire history on SI. Assume that I posted a single post in Forum A back in 1996, and that I posted each and every day in Forum B during the subsequent 19 years. Your technique would show that I was away from SI for 19 years. -g-
