Someone needs to realistically look at what energy and supply will realistically be in say 5 or 10 years.

BP and Shell do that kind of thing. But anyone who did it 10 years ago would have been dramatically wrong. And it is very probable that anyone who does it today will be just as wrong, although it is always possible that they would accidentally be close.
