Consolidated Magna Ventures (CMV VSE) has been making the rounds the past two weeks to institutions, brokerages and mining companies in an effort to feel out it's options for financing. We understand that a decision will be made in the next week and will likely be announced in the new year. Options on the table are joint-venture proposals for several of their Mexican properties, a further dilutive financing, bank loans, mergers, and a rollback. We understand the last point has become less of a consideration than in the past. Hold tight till '98, the company is sitting on some good projects and there is no point selling at current prices. REMARKS FROM THE CANADIAN SPECULATOR THIS MORNING
