It was a big layoff. I was just lucky that I had enough savings, but getting a job in your late 50's these days is a real bear. My situation isn't dire though and my house is paid for. I'm 61 today. Few years I'll have medicare.

I do miss working though. Basically, I was forced to retire too soon after over thirty years with a company.
