The UK government is to launch its own investigation into vehicle emissions testing, following the VW scandal in the US. - bbc.com

The UK regulator, the Vehicle Certification Agency, will work with car makers to re-run lab tests where necessary and compare the results against "real-world" driving emissions.

Germany's transport minister says Volkswagen has admitted using the same fake emissions test in Europe as it used to falsify results in the US. The EU has also said that there should be a Europe-wide investigation into emissions testing.

Australia has indicated they'll will ban sales of Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche cars in Australia if the defective cars are not replaced.

They're going to prank Piëch real good. One practical joke often leads to another in retaliation because they're so hilarious. Ha ha.
