Hi Bill

Well in either case my friend, IMO, when the VIX spikes up say over 25, into the 35ish range this is a bullish indicator to me...What Bernie said is that it was an indicator for the OEX to perform a lot stronger than the trend normally...I watched it the last time and it proved out...

So I bought the Jan OEX 455's into the downside on Fri, and will hold it without trading for at least 2 weeks...I'm tired of being whipsawed out of my positions...

If i'm right, then as this unfolds the so called "Jan Effect", if there is one, should propell the OEX a lot higher...

We shall see huh???

Thanks for the comments, i'll be VERY interested in your day to day insight as to direction...

My Regards, Jer
