Hello Carter,
Sprint has not yet launched their digital PCS service in Atlanta. According to their recent press release, Atlanta is one of the cities where they will be starting up service in 1998 and early 1999. Based on what has happened here in Southern CA, you can expect that when PCS comes on line, it will really shake up the market for mobile phone services, and the cellular carriers like Airtouch will probably begin to emphasize digital as well. (I don't know whether PrimeCo, the other big CDMA PCS provider, has a license for Atlanta).

In California, Radio Shack seems to be doing a decent job at selling Qualcomm's digital phones. But then, perhaps it is because like Hondas were claimed to, they sell themselves.
