Actually, the discovery of nature's divinely decreed laws (thinking God's thoughts after him) has been a big motive for scientists as long as scientists have been around. None of the scientists you reference tried to learn the mechanism .... they were excellent scientists but allowed themselves to accept a spiritual creator of the universe. Nothing wrong with that. But you invent a new type of character and say they were "messengers" of your god with god-like powers, ie also gods but lesser gods.... So where's the science???? I haven't invented angels. They're explicitly mentioned in the Bible. And yes, I know belief in angels isn't scientifically derived.
