I said they can and do use sub gathered data.....and I showed you enough ref's to proof that they do take temp data when they want to.....are you daft?

No, you didn't ask me about it, you threw it out as evidence but it doesn't speak to the issue (see above).
So how do you think the inversion layer was discovered?

don't know that (actually I'm skeptical of it) but am amused by it as it's just another one of those irrelevancies you continually come up with
