Jurgis Bekepuris, any outsize performance of my portfolio more than disappeared maybe 12-18 months ago led by the decline in oil stocks. May take me quite a while, if ever, to see outperformance again. I'm one who considers the entire portfolio, and as long as I maintain a very high cash component in there, it's not likely that the portfolio will beat any index (S &P, Russell, others). Also of consideration for me, I'm already at the age and getting to the point where, why try? Why risk? My lifestyle isn't going to change with more money; I'm not spending what I already have. ------- Position sizing for me is also very tough. ------ The idea of having a good portion of my portfolio invested with pro's like BRK sounds more and more appealing.
