MBO ... I did a little Saturday morning digging. MBO (formerly LX Ventures) and its CEO have an interesting past in terms of acquisition, promotion and execution. The 2012/2013 timeframe (Cooper Cloud) is worth a closer look especially if looked at in conjunction with the chart as is the discontinuation of the Insider platform / website. Another point of interest is Mr. Edwards’ prior involvement in Red Thread Media (RTM), the company MBO just bought. BTW, RTM was incorporated barely a year ago in the UK. I couldn’t find any financial information aside from what was disclosed by MBO. Mr. Edwards became a Director of RTM in February 2015. Around that same time there were “Allotment of Securities” changes made by RTM. The detail reports can be purchased here: endole.co.uk I’m not interested enough to do it. In short, Mr Edwards’ / LX Ventures’ / MBO’s history is “illustrious” as a self-described “Accelerator / Incubator of early stage high growth technology companies”. No doubt, Mr Edwards has a flair for promotion as evidenced in many articles which can be found on the internet. MBO was discussed on SI in the earlier part of the year as a “play”. IMO a very fitting description ... PS: I'm trying to remember which other a while ago much talked about / promoted microcap on SI using the terms Accelerator / Incubator reminds me of ... LOL
