I'm actually of the mindset that message boards should be more like a 'club' of people with a common interest. People in a photography club should be able to deviate and talk about music, for example, without getting kicked out. Of course that's not my call since I don't own the message board. Posting may need to be balanced with the interest of readers--although I put a lower priority on that since people can skip messages or put people on 'ignore'. I do very much appreciate the lack of any draconian moderator on SI who feels the need to control information.

Information about pyrolysis is a little light these days so it doesn't seem like deviating a bit will hurt. For PTOI, it will probably be until Nov 15th until Mr. Heddle unleashes a whole new batch of BS to regale investors and raise interest again. The topic of prescription drugs, pricing and Canada's viewpoint is interesting to me as well. I'm also not trying to control anyone, but the SI Canadian drug board might be a better place for discussion of that topic. It's at Subject 55025
