<They need a new ad agency. The idea of "image" advertising is an ad agency's dream. Get to bill lots of time and get lots of commissions for placing the ads but no accountability since it isn't even supposed to produce sales - just "help the image". It is stupid and MUEI management is naive and maybe stupid for buying the idea. They need to spend money on ads that sell computers and that's it.>

I tend to agree with you, however, this may not have started out as an "image" advertising campaign. That would have been a dumb thing to do unless they had several million dollars that they wanted to pour down a hole. My guess is that they intended to have a "sales" ad campaign, and only after it failed, did they say, "well we just wanted to increase our brand recognition."

I would hope that they will place a very large ad that says, COMPANY FOR SALE. That would be ad dollars very well spent IMO.
