And another thing - patents can't be obtained for life - it just ain't possible!! Otherwise some new baby in the future would be required to pay a royalty on its existence for the monopoly period. And yet continuing life is at the beck and call of the drug industry - pay or die - it just ain't right. Which politician these days is going to do something about this? Trump? Who? They'd get my vote.
