I find the above comment from Koligman (to be fair, many have made similar comments) to be astonishing. Surely, he understands that these costs are just being dumped on future generations if in fact, current generations would be unable to afford the premiums.

Kind of reminds of animals which eat their young: it is sort of at odds with the fundamental premise of life to dump your living expenses on your offspring.

But no one seems to mind it.
