Not to be obstinate, well, maybe a little, I venture to say that the big money makers owe more to know how than patents.

Case in point - penicillin.

Patents are often touted as the big influence in blockbuster drugs. True to a certain degree. The abolition of patents is often advocated, and we might be surprised at the outcome. Then again, so the argument goes, we might shoot the goose that lays the golden egg.

Are we better off with Einstein?

Good question.

Better off without wars?

Another good question.

Lots of questions.

Few answers.

At least I am free and don't speak German. My mother did! But WW2 stopped that!! I never learned a word.
