greg, that was an eye-opening report. "High single digit" PC unit growth is less than half what Intel was forecasting and pricing pressures will be severe, to say the least. I wonder whether the 500,000 unit order from Compaq to FIC could be for K6 systems. FIC uses the VIA VP-3 AGP chipset and has announced a Socket 7 100 MHz board, I believe. Petz
