SparQ vs. Jaz:

You are much better going for the SyQuest SparQ. It will save you bundles of cash, and it will offer the right performance and features for the needs you describe. The ONLY reason you might want to buy a Jaz is if you are interested in supporting Iomega Corp.'s bottom line. Zip and Jaz are expensive options in today's marketplace.

If your applications are for your use only, you are much better opting for non-Iomega products. They are overpriced.
