Here is a fact for you. Because of the various, heavily edited and misleading videos and other materials, PP has been investigated by at least 8 states over the past couple of years. None of them, including the 5 states run by Republicans, found any hint of illegal action. None. Now, no doubt you will come up with some entertaining conspiracy theory about how the abortion mafia got to them and made them suppress the truth and I am all ears to hear it.
You can argue about technicalities like the segregation of funds to prevent taxpayer funding of abortions, the substance of it is that if you use that money to fund contraception services, you free up other money to be used for abortions.
Exactly how is that supposed to work, i-node? I know wingnut central has sent out a memo that this is a killer argument, but it lacks a lot of details, like how it works. What money is being freed up? There just isn't a lot of commonality between contraceptive services and abortion. The receptionist? The lobby? The phones?
That they call it shipping and handling just doesn't matter.
It sort of depends. Are the fees charged out of line of the costs? According to people who have actual knowledge of it, i.e. not you, say the fees are not out of line with break even or even a small loss. Because they are not the only supplier of human tissue for research purposes, hospitals do it to, to take one. So there are benchmarks.
