Inline with a plan to narrow focus on multifamily and medical building assets, Investors Real Estate (NYSE:IRET) sells a portfolio of 15 commercial retail properties for $79M, with the company netting $51M after paying off the mortgages.

This one is now a 'pure' play in multi-family income property and medical properties. 6.7% yield.

If/when this get's back to the $9.00/share area, I may peel off 50% of the shares and move into a medical REIT like MPW.
