Absolutely not.........Nexium's patent ran out a few years ago and the company has been stone walling the generics since then even before then.....although a generic is supposed to be available, it is still not available in a major drug store like CVS...they have been making the generics jump through hoops by challenging the FDA approval of the generics.. Astrazeneca, it's mfg, is playing the game now on OTC by only selling low doses that are essentially the same price as an RX if you buy enough to equal the RX dose.. So they're still cornering the market and that's not the way markets are to work in this country...
