there is one model that fairly accurately hind casts warming and cooling including the Maunder and Dalton minimums and subsequent warmings and coolings to the present day.

This model is not popular because it indicates that CO2 doesn't have much impact on climate. Unfortunately, it also forecasts global cooling by up to .5 degrees starting in 2017-2020 and coldest around 2030-2040. It won't take long to find out if it a good model or garbage like all the other models.....
