The week’s numbers are as follows:
At Friday’s close the Contest median was up 8.26% YTD (vs. up 8.95% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 3.95% YTD (vs. up 2.16% YTD a week ago), while the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index was up 5.62% YTD (vs. up 8.67% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index was down -.60% YTD (vs. down -1.05% YTD a week ago).
MOPGCW’s portfolio, up 68.68% YTD, took over the Contest lead as DANIEL’S portfolio, up 58.48% YTD, had a rough week and fell to second place. DONS’ portfolio, up 50.88% YTD, held on to third place.
At the week’s close, 36 of the 51 Contest portfolios were in the green with 32 beating the NBI and 29 beating the SPSIBI. The 206 Contest stock picks now have an average YTD gain of 1.65% and a median YTD loss of -9.87%.
