This is the same thing that happened to a friend of mine last year. He bought a Compaq at a very cheap price, and was given a free monitor valued at around $400. The Compaq was a discontinued model, and the monitor was actually a 14" with an inflated retail value of $400. I wonder if these Compaqs this season are old models, but I'm sure the monitor is no bigger than 15" according to their ads in CompUSA. Steven
