Sonki Could not find any citings directly relating to Leaps. Maybe try the cboe web site as they may have addressed the issue. Probably the same rules as for puts and calls. If so, the holding period would begin the day after the option is exercised. Hope this helps. Good luck and a happy holidays to you and evryone else as well. Gary
