They are very strong arguments and not just suppositions. Have you ever worked for a medium-to-large size company? Familiar with issues of supporting various platforms, apps, etc? Including actual cost, IS support issues, TCO, etc? If you did, you would know that the arguments that I posted (and others) bear directly on the question of choice, and go to the heart of the whole case.
