even if it's off the topic of the Borland tread, I like to drop another idea related to your drive assumption.

Even when the NC is taking off, which I personaly see as a great and logical next step into a networked world, I don't think that must be without any harddisk.

Sure, there is no need to maintain all the programs. But what is hapen with those data? How about a multi giga hard drive to temporarily store your video, someone has downloaded from Disney or Warner Brothers?

I assume, that we are stil going to need more storage capacity, then ever before.
