Corporatism is nothing "new" on the supposed right or the supposed left in the US. The tax law is a prime example of corporate subsidies gone wild and you know it. The common use of 'right' and 'left' in the US is Republican and Democrat. You are correct in that their policies are real national socialism, i.e. more akin to Nazi fascism than anything else.
