Yes, I had an interesting childhood. We were around boats a lot. Everything from little sailboats, to a 100' yacht that was once owned by Clara Bow, to owning four salmon processors that were anywhere from 96' to 173' long. The highlight of my childhood was taking a 2 month trip on a boat leaving Seattle and ending up in Hawaii with a several week layover in SF to do repairs on the boat after suffering a lot of damage in a huge storm we experienced at sea. Long story, great memories. I would go anywhere in any boat on Earth with him when he was alive. He was a very competent Mariner.
