Hello David,
I have been an avid follower and shareholder of FIBR since the messages were in the low 2000s. I had never gotten around to signing up on the Silicon Investor until now. I just wanted to thank you, Barb, Lisa, Scott, and all of the other FIBR holders who have contributed to this board for providing a wealth of information about the company. That being said, I've had many questions bottled up inside my head over the past months and I thought I'd start asking them. It seems that you are the biggest question answerer, so I thought I'd address my questions to you. Everyone please feel free to respond.
1. Did we ever sort out the logistics of the employee buyback plan? Will the stock be bought on the open market or is there a pool of stock the employees will buy from that is being held currently by the company?
2. I was under the impression that the Net+Arm wouldn't be selling for a few quarters at least. In a recent message I thought you mentioned that it would be selling this quarter or next. Was my impression wrong or did I misinterpret your statement about the Net+Arm?
3. Selling and Marketing Expenses increased a great deal last quarter due to increasing costs of marketing new products. Is that a one time blip from the marketing of the IQX 200, Gigamux, and Net+Arm or should we expect to see the marketing expenses stay at this level and increase over the next few quarters/years?
It seems that this company is poised to take off. We may have to wait until earnings come out or there is an announcement, but IMO our wait will be well worth the reward. It seems that next quarter is looking good. Revenues seem to be at least returning back to normal levels, General and Administrative expenses should IMO look lower if the million extra from last quarter was due to legal matters that were settled, and the sales and marketing expenditures could also decrease if they were a one-time increase as I wondered in question 3 above.
I'm sooooo happy to be able to speak! Loving life...
